Aims & Objectives

  • To improve the social and cultural awareness of the black race through every activity of the organization.

  • To encourage the national and international solidarity of black people oppressed and exposed to exploitation and those who defend peace, justice, social progress and self determination.

  • To represent the interest of the black people nationally and internationally.

  • To inform and educate individuals and blacks in particular about their history.

  • To develop communication between individuals and social groups within Jamaica and other countries.

  • To develop our self confidence; to know and appreciate ourselves and hence make ourselves known, heard and respected universally as a people.

  • To promote and propagate cultural activities on the University campus and locally, we an aim of promoting racial and cultural awareness
